All our games are private, which means your group will never be paired with another group. We also have a $90 booking minimum. We understand this may not be convenient for all players, so we’ll waive the minimum booking fee on Wednesday or Thursday, or any game booked before 2pm on Saturday. Although we recommend 4 players in our 60 minute games, they’ll physically require at least 2 people to complete. It’s time for your next adventure!
Mark of the Witch
Fascinated with rumors, conspiracy theories, and true crime podcasts, visitors make the pilgrimage to Ashland to visit the historical Rabbit’s Paw Inn. The power inside this building is a legend unto itself. Hoping to uncover a bit of truth to the stories of the occult and the infamous Ashland Witch, they stand where so many before have tried to bring these stories to fruition, and where others have lost their lives under mysterious circumstances. On this adventure, meet the current proprietors of the Inn and see if you have what it takes to commune with those that have passed on these grounds. Perhaps you’ll summon the spirits sacrificed to the Ashland Witch; or perhaps, you’ll see just what lies beyond the veil… and be left marked by the Witch herself.
Warning: Mark of the Witch is not suitable for children under 13. This game contains graphic content, gore and atmospheric lighting. At least one member of the group will be required to crouch and to duck. You’ll be given an option to be marked in special fx blood (not real blood).
Secrets of the Dead
The Rabbit’s Paw Inn, known for its long history with the strange and unusual, has added a new chapter. Supernatural experiences seem to be having a sudden and dramatic increase throughout the inn, specifically in room 113. Investigators from Unexplained Virginia: Paranormal Division are recruiting members to join their team in the search for answers. Look for clues, solve the puzzles, and work to discover the secrets of the dead.
Phobia
Unexplained Virginia is a scientific research organization that specializes in the paranormal and otherworldly. Some of their most famous case studies include the Ashland Witch, Richmond Vampire, Bunny Man, and the Order of Red Vein. Current research has led them to investigating the cause and effect of fear on the human body, specifically the central nervous system. Project Phobia is a 10 minute, 2-person endurance challenge inside a special chamber designed by Unexplained Virginia researchers. Inside the pitch black chamber, subjects will find a series of tasks testing the extent of their fears, within a limited window of time. No help will be provided, unless the challenges prove too difficult or the fear becomes overwhelming. In which case, they’ll be removed from inside the chamber. Do you have what it takes?
Love Letters Lost
While Edgar Allan Poe has always been known for his horror themes and macabre style, he’s also known as the Father of the Detective Story. RED VEIN Escape is giving YOU the chance to uncover a mystery filled with heartbreak and deceit. Doomed to fail because of a disapproving father, Edgar Allan Poe remained steadfast in his love for Elmira Royster. His endless letters were intercepted and believed destroyed, but yet Poe continued to follow his heart. Will you help true love? Or will these forlorn lovers be nevermore? Based on the true story of Edgar and Elmira right here in Ashland, this game is only available for a limited time!
