We did Mark of the Witch and it was amazing. The detail was fantastic. And the locks were so much fun! They were diverse and original. It was amazing.

We had a wonderful time doing both the escape rooms for our annual Halloween night. The rooms were unique and the themes were very fitting for a spooky (but not too spooky) fun time! The staff was extremely accommodating and very flexible! We were having some issues getting there on time and they worked with us and made our night enjoyable!

My husband and I have done 100+ escape rooms and it is refreshing to find a place like Red Vein! The rooms are challenging, yet fun and the gm’s are very interactive. Their role play is very entertaining! The rooms are well designed, the puzzles are fluent and the decor is amazing as well. At times, I had to remind myself to work on the game rather than just admire the handy work of the designers. We are told that each gm put a piece of their craftsmanship in each room… well done Red Vein! We definitely recommend trying these rooms!

Red Vein should be in a much larger metropolitan area for more people to enjoy. I have participated in more than 100 escape rooms in several states and none compare to fun, excitement and entertainment I experienced at Red Vein. It was obviously put together by artist and engineers.

I truly just wanted to right a review to express how utterly amazing this place is! I’ve done hundreds of escape rooms all over, but this place absolutely takes the cake. I’ve been coming to Red Vein over the last two years, almost every single time I see a new room has come out. The detail they put into these rooms is insane, from the moment you walk in the game master is completely in character. It truly immerses you into your experience. Not even to mention every single room is impeccably designed, it’s so eerie and captivating. I’m a huge lover of everything spooky, and horror related so my boyfriend and I come here often for date nights, and we have never left disappointed. Kitty has been our game master most of the times that we have gone over the past two years, and they have truly given us the most incredible experience! So if you are looking for a fun night out, or something spooky for the upcoming Halloween season, please give this place a try! Aside from the amazing escape rooms, they also put on the best haunt in Virginia hands down. I most certainly will be back for haunt this year! And can’t wait to see all the new amazing things they offer in the future!! 🙂

The single BEST escape room I’ve ever experienced. Between the props/set, ambience, puzzles, and our guide herself, Red Vein’s commitment to their craft is very clear. My sister told me she hadn’t had that kind of fun in years - I’ve even convinced her to come back and join me for their Haunt! Red Vein never disappoints. I’m so grateful our town has a place like this. ❤️

We've been to two of Red Vein's Escape Rooms, and each visit was a blast! The puzzles are a challenge, but they are workable. The best part was the atmosphere! The room creators obviously spent a lot of time and effort building a beautiful and realistic experience. You feel like you're really caught up in a mystery/horror movie. Can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing time at Red Vein Escape. My family and I went in the early afternoon for the Mark of the Witch escape room. It was so well done and so much fun that we went back in the evening for the Secrets of the Dead room. The experience starts from the minute you walk in the front door. The people, the decor and the puzzles are wonderful.

This was the best experience, we had our sons 10 year old bday here with his best friend and our family. The escape room was sooooooo fun and customized with a special clue with my sons name. After we celebrated in one of the rooms with cake and presents. We will def. go back, perfect for all ages!!! Can't say thank you enough to Kitty and the staff. Finnegan said he will never forget it 🙂

Best escape room I’ve ever been to easily. It was so creative and had me on my toes for the entire hour. It was not too easy nor impossible, the “witch” gave just the right amount of clues when we needed them without just directly telling us what to do next. Definitely will be going back to complete the other room. Highly recommend for a fun activity!

First escape room experience and we are blown away by the creativity and thoughtfulness of this company! It was so much fun for our family of four, ages 8-43. Everyone is in character, our tour guide was wonderful and incredibly helpful with hints when we needed a little help. We did the 20,000 leagues under the sea, it was a perfect first escape room, and we escaped! Oh my gosh, I'm so impressed. We def want to try another one.

As first timers to an escape room, we had no idea what to expect, but this experience FAR exceeded our vision of what it would be like!! What a GREAT way to spend an hour!! You have the option of hints, hints only when you're in trouble, or no hints. We had to take advantage of a couple of hints, but finished with 56 seconds to go! highly recommend!

My husband and I have done many escape rooms and when it comes to picking a favorite, Red Vein wins by a long shot!The overall experience is so enthralling that you truly feel like you are in the story with them. Each room is so well thought out and there are plenty of fast paced tasks as well as more involved/difficult tasks. Their actors/actresses are phenomenal and amazing at staying in character!We have had the good fortune of partaking in 3 of their rooms and their 10 minute Phobia room as well. I've come close to losing my soul twice now and I can not wait to experience the thrilling adventure of their next room!

We had a great time solving the puzzles in the Mark of The Witch escape room. The theming was well done with professional quality lighting and set decoration. The story was well written and the puzzles were interesting. I also thought the progression of the game from room to room was well done. The staff were fantastic and committed to their roles. And they clearly liked what they did. We are definitely coming back!

Mark of the Witch was amazing! Set design and puzzles were excellent. I got confused about the story/goal halfway through but the GM was very attentive and gave us clues through a speaker immediately when we asked. One of the best rooms I've ever done.

I didn't have a group, but luckily, a venue was smart enough to make a single-player experience! The ladies working were super friendly. *The scientist, on the other hand, was cold and technical. No joking with her!Needless to say, I'm writing this from the beyond as I did not survive the experiment. The puzzles were well crafted, and the ambiance was spooky. I'd love to see the full-blown experience one day.

We took our staff to Red Vein for a team outing and it was an incredible experience! First, they opened for us on a Monday as this is the only day we can get the teams together - a day when they are typically closed. The staff were so friendly, and the rooms were a ton of fun. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite escape room ever and I’ve been to quite a few! The staff is amazing, Kitty is the sweetest person I’ve ever met. They’re always super theatric and excited. Being greeted with a smile and excitement makes me so excited to do the rooms every time. The character changes and the effort put into the rooms and the entire experience is just phenomenal! I can’t wait for Krampus and the haunt this year…I’d give Red Vein more than 5 stars if I could because they’re just that amazing. They also have cute games, stickers, pins, and shirts that I’ve spent way too much money on, but if I were to give anyone all my money, it would be Kitty. They also have the cutest little lobby/party area with candy and tiny little puzzles you can solve. Overall it’s a 100% must escape room if you’re ever in the area!

Genuinely such an awesome experience. Been to about a dozen escape rooms and I’m shocked how intricate and well thought out it was. The props were so realistic and the storyline was so well thought out. The only regret I have is I can only do it once! We survived with 5 seconds left and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Great staff, great room, and great experience that left me excited to go back again!

The staff was friendly, the facility was very cool and well themed, and the escape room itself was just the right level of challenge for us to have a great sense of accomplishment when we finally beat it (with 3 minutes left on the clock). If I could give more stars, I would! We started with Escape from 20,000 Leagues - an excellent escape room that is the perfect amount of challenge. The entire experience was very immersive and added to the thrill and excitement. After our first room, we stayed to do Phobias - a terrifyingly unique experience that is a must try. We finished our trip to Red Vein with Love Letters Lost, which was a quick and rewarding (while still spooky and challenging) adventure. Kitty was phenomenal and made the experience exponentially better! From the character changes to the genuine excitement, Kitty made our trip and multi-adventure visit more than worth it!

me and a very good friend of mine did mark of the witch. It was an amazing experience. From the second we walked in. Until we commenced the rest of our evening on the way out. It was a very immersive and enjoyable experience. It was not too scary and all of the puzzles were very fun and all of the rooms were amazing as well. You can tell detail and time was put into them. And the puzzles are very hands on which I love as well. 10/10 will be back

We did the Krampus Room on Friday, Dec. 6th and it was amazing!!!! The smell of pine was a wonderful touch to the room. The clues were a lot of fun and challenging. We were so happy we were able to save Santa and save Christmas.

We booked a party at Red Vein Escape for our kid that was turning 13. It was hands down the easiest birthday party I have ever done for a kid. We worked with Kitty and Valentina and both were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had ordered Pappa Johns and had it delivered while the kids were doing the escape room. They even had goodie bags for sale so it was one less thing we had to worry about. I swear I don’t know who had more fun the kids or the adults. Everyone had such a wonderful time and we will certainly use them again.

INCREDIBLE!The building is clean, interesting as soon as you walk in the door, and they do such an excellent job of setting the stage!Our group did the Hunt for the Richmond Vampire, which was a very fun play on a local lore!The game master handled our silliness like a pro and gave us great nudges when we got stuck.

What an awesome experience! The decorations were incredible and the flow and puzzles were complicated and challenging in the best possible way! They're doing a Krampus one near Christmas and I CANNOT WAIT! The people were just as awesome as the room! The characters were great and afterwards they were so sweet and funny! We did both rooms wth a party of 4. The 20,000 leagues under the sea was first. Really awesome! Good number of clues to find and a few jumps along the way! The vampire room was second, I would recommend a small group because the rooms are much smaller. However, the room was definitely the more challenging of the 2. A lot of fun and air the challenge. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and using covid practices. Highly recommend!!
